Team Profile: The Institutional Equity Division (IED) FP&A Team sits in the IED Product Control Group. The Team partners with global IED Finance and IED Business Units to deliver business performance analytics, oversee the Budget and forecasting processes for the IED division, present business performance results in various forums, and provide analyses on new business initiatives. The Team is highly collaborative, and its members are located in New York.
Department Profile: The Finance Division reports to the Chief Financial Officer and consists of some 3,000 employees worldwide. Finance protects the Morgan Stanley franchise by serving as guardian of the Firm's books and records, and by contributing to firm wide risk management and risk reduction. This division maintains relationships with Morgan Stanley's various industry and government regulators, and also serves as the conduit of financial information to the outside investment community. Finance plays a critical role as advisor to Morgan Stanley's various businesses and its senior management team.

You will:
> Drive analytics relating to business performance planning and analysis
> Act as point of contact for the Equity businesses and product controllers; heavy client interaction
> Communicate findings from analyses tailored to various audiences
> Support other related ad-hoc analysis requests/projects for senior Finance and Business Management
Qualifications
You Have:
> Strong academic background with an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
> Prior professional experience with Financial Services and Accounting firms desired
> Minimum of 3-5 years of Accounting or Finance, Financial Reporting & Analysis experience required
> Non-linear, strategic and analytical mindset, problem solving skills, flexibility
> Strong attention to details, organized and effectively juggle various priorities
> Aptitude for working in a swiftly changing, dynamic environment
> Demonstrated record of initiative and resourcefulness
> Good teamwork, collaboration and excellent communications skills
> Ability to develop and maintain relationships with business units and other operational groups
> Willingness to work with virtual teams across varying regions towards the achievement of common goals
> Proficiency in MS Office, particularly, PowerPoint and Excel
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $90,000 and $155,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
