Job Title: Identity and Access Management Engineer
Location: Franklin, WI (3 days onsite a week and 2 days remote)
Duration: 6-12 months Contract
Rates: $60-65/hr on 1099
Roles & Responsibilities
Systems Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Identity and Access Management Engineer to join our team. This candidate will collaborate with key business units, developers, and security engineers to help shape the future of our Identity and Access Management (IAM) Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting, supporting, and developing improvements to all identity-related aspects within Client Identity and Access Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with key business units, developers, vendors, and security engineers.
- Integrate with third-party software and on-premises infrastructure.
- Ensure high availability and a seamless user experience.
- Design, conduct impact analysis, analyze data, and create work effort estimates for new features and fixes.
- Engage in cross-team communication to facilitate effective collaboration.
- Lead and participate in automation and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Design, develop, and implement CIAM solutions integrating with a variety of systems and platforms.
- Manage and maintain CIAM IDP tools such as Okta, Ping, or equivalent, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
- Utilize orchestration tools like PingOne DaVinci or Transmit Security FlexID to automate and streamline identity workflows.
- Implement and manage identity proofing processes to ensure secure user authentication and verification.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and align CIAM solutions with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture designs, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
- Implement, manage, and support technologies such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), FIDO authentication, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Identity Governance & Administration.
- Apply in-depth understanding of identity protocols such as OpenID Connect (OIDC), OAuth, SAML, AD-Fed, API Gateways, and SCIM.
- Support CIAM infrastructure upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in identity and access management.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Experience with Okta and Transmit Security is a plus
