Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent ICU RN to join our medical team. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing top-quality care to critically ill patients in our intensive care unit. In this role, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. We offer a highly competitive salary.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and assessing patients' vital signs and symptoms
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records
- Responding to medical emergencies and providing life-saving interventions as needed
- Participating in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices
Qualifications:
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Experience with ventilators, arterial lines, and other critical care equipment preferred
