Ice Machine Repair Technician - Todco Beverage, LLC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Ice Machine Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial ice machines. This role involves traveling to client sites to perform repairs and maintenance, ensuring the efficient operation of ice machines and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair various makes and models of commercial ice machines.
• Perform routine maintenance inspections to ensure optimal performance and longevity of ice machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain problems, solutions, and provide recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in ice machine repair.
• Respond promptly to service calls and provide timely resolutions to minimize downtime for clients.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in HVAC/R, refrigeration, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of the principles of refrigeration and related controls, allowing for effective diagnosis, repair and installation of appliance reach-ins and ice machines.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with various ice machine brands and models.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environmental conditions.
