About the Job
Summary
The ICAM Badging Specialist is primarily responsible for the operation, fabrication, and issuance of NASA badge transactions, KSC temporary passes, center specific badges and credentials, fishing permits, NASA Foreign National permits, KSC ID cards, bullet badges (media, overlays, and special events), permanent area access (PAA), temporary area authorizations (TAAs), and technology control plans as necessary.
Responsibilities
+ Required to utilize systems and related databases for issuing and recording badges and other facility access credentials to employees, contractors and visitors
+ Required to obtain electronic fingerprints in accordance with NASA ICAM requirements.
+ Required to follow all company personnel and safety policies and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner.
+ Ensure that registrants are processed without any undue delays in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) or as may be established by supervisors.
+ Recover ID credentials from personnel upon termination of employment or as directed.
+ Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays if needed.
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Possession of a High School Diploma or GED
+ Two years of responsible security awareness administrative, secretarial and/or badging experience preferred
+ Must be able to successfully complete KSC ICAM Training (i.e. PIV, ALMS, idMAX, LENEL, etc.)
+ Effective oral and written communication skills.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to organize and prioritize work.
+ Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver’s license.
+ Must be able to obtain a DoD security clearance, but not required to start.
+ Must be able to meet drug testing and alcohol – free workforce requirements to include random drug and/or alcohol testing.)
