Summary:
The Access Management Supervisor role is to design, administer technical improvements, and optimize all aspects of Identity and Access Management functions to ensure bank associates are receiving appropriate access and support using highly efficient processes. This includes the technical and business process design and administration responsibilities for the Company’s access request, provisioning and de-provisioning, user review and audit response processes, simplifying the processes and improving the overall associate experience as it relates to access management. The Access Management Supervisor will also assist with knowledge and skill development of team and perform management responsibilities.
Principal Accountabilities:
• Lead and manage the technology used for provisioning system including the batch script processes and the user access review and risk analysis systems to continually drive improvements and provide hands on guidance and assistance while simplifying the overall associate experience.
• Develop strategies for identity workflow automation using role-based access control. This includes processes for simplifying the provisioning and de-provisioning processes.
• Lead, coordinate and participate in key process improvements and onboarding new applications as they relate to identity management.
• Promote and manage technical requirements for user reviews as it relates to new applications.
• Coordinate with network engineering, business solutions, server administration and database administration to ensure system and process changes as related to identity management are communicated, maintained, and refined.
• Secure the banking applications by ensuring proper procedures are created and followed for provisioning and de-provisioning processes.
• Ensure Access Management team maintains acceptable SLAs for incident management, service requests and user access reviews.
• Maintain accurate User Access Risk Assessment for each application the company uses and manage the schedule for user access reviews.
• Responsible for responding to internal and external audit requests regarding access management, findings, and related action items.
• Responsible for recognizing and locating continued education and training courses, both technical and non-technical for the Access Management Team.
• Identify and implement appropriate technologies to improve the automation and efficiency of the team.
• Supervises others, including interviewing, hiring, coaching, scheduling, counseling, motivating, training, preparing, and delivering performance evaluations, preparing and delivering discipline, and terminating, when appropriate. Will typically supervise a staff of approximately 4-6 associates. Conducts regular meetings and provides frequent feedback to associates to develop them and provide a career path for all associates whose performance supports promotion.
• Understands, embodies, communicates, and instills corporate initiatives and vision, including the six Pillars of Success.
• Maintains client information in complete confidence.
• Completes other specified duties as assigned.
• Regular attendance required, working at the assigned worksite, or assigned remote location during regular business hours and/or assigned hours.
Minimum Qualifications:
• College degree in the field of Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline preferred. Degree may be substituted with equivalent work experience.
• Related work experience with Identity and/or Access Management functions.
• Minimum of two years equivalent work experience in a technical lead or supervisory position of a technical or Identity Management team.
• Project management skills preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate well with business unit peers. 3/2024
• Self-motivated and high attention to detail.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong client service orientation.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Preferred:
• ITIL Foundations v3.
• Experience with databases preferred.
• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software beneficial. If experience has not yet been obtained, the candidate will have a strong desire to learn about RPA.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including macros, pivot tables, and links preferred.
• Knowledge of SAML and SSO authentication practices preferred.
• Experience with Enterprise Identity Management systems preferred such as Okta and SailPoint.
Physical Requirements:
The work environment is typical of a standard office or retail banking setting. The position is sedentary, involving sitting most of the workday; however, the position will involve moving about the workspace to reach entrances/exits, restrooms, conference rooms, or other areas within the work environment. Reaching may be required involving the ability to move arms in any direction. Office equipment, such as a computer and telephone, will be used requiring the ability to manipulate a keyboard, mouse, and/or keypad. The ability to decipher a computer screen or written documents are necessary. The ability to express or exchange ideas; impart information to clients, coworkers, or the public; or to convey detailed or important instructions; is required. The ability to receive and understand detailed information shared through oral or written communication is required. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes. Position requires (choose one: no, occasional, regular) lifting and/or the exerting of up to (specify amount: 0 – 50) pounds of force. If associate works in our hybrid work program, lifting of about 5 lbs. (laptop) is required twice daily.
