JOB DESCRIPTION
We Build with Passion- Clean Harbors Kimball, NE NEW Incineration unit is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician will be responsible for performing hands-on instrument checks, calibrations, and PLC Logic programming, along with diagnosing issues with control circuitry and assisting the electrical and maintenance departments with various tasks as needed. Clean Harbors Kimball is searching for a reliable and safety-oriented I&E Technician with an excellent mechanical aptitude to join our team! NEW wage, $35+ hourly, DOE, paid weekly. Monday- Friday, 45 hrs. per week minimum, 5/ 9 hr. days.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Troubleshoots instrument and control malfunctions
- Performs preventative maintenance checks and calibrations
- Maintains accurate records and logs as required
- Installs new system controls (including power wiring)
- Installs cabling, power distribution systems, and motor control centers
- Services and replaces motors and lighting
- Performs general electrical maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-5 years combined plant experience and related education preferred
- Instrument and/or electrical training, degree, or certification preferred
- Journeyman Electrician License
- Proficiency in blueprint reading of electronic schematics
- Proficiency in process and instrumentation diagrams
- Ability to work in team environment
- DOT Training
- Proficiency in Windows based applications
- Ability to perform multiple tasks
- Lifting up to 50 lbs from the ground to your waste
- Climb up and down vertical ladders
- Capable of reaching out, over and down exerting a force
- 20/20 eyesight corrected or uncorrected - depth perception is critical
- 10 pushups, deep knee squats and sit-ups (to determine if fit)
- Good hand/eye coordination
- Valid Driver's License required
- Punctuality and attendance required
- Respirator fit test upon hire- clean shaven face required (mustache okay!)
- Background check, drug screen and physical- required
