Salary
- $110,000 - $130,000 per annum.

Join our team as an Electrical Designer/Engineer specializing in Instrumentation & Controls. Our company is a leader in engineering, integration, and construction of advanced R&D and production systems, controls, and facilities
This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to support a range of process and industrial projects by designing and drafting electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborative Design
- Partner with project teams to understand and translate user requirements and design specifications into actionable plans.
- Electrical Schematics
- Develop and review detailed wiring diagrams, control panel layouts (UL 508A compliant), and power/lighting system plans.
- Process Documentation
- Design and update process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to support project objectives.
- Equipment Procurement
- Work closely with suppliers and procurement teams to source instrumentation and control components.
- Panel Fabrication
- Generate work orders and oversee the in-house production of control panels.
- Functional Testing
- Conduct system functionality tests on equipment at the manufacturing facility to ensure quality and reliability.
- Project Documentation
- Create comprehensive wire pull schedules and contractor-specific work scopes to support bidding and construction efforts.
- System Commissioning
- Perform I/O checkout, resolve troubleshooting issues, and calibrate instruments during commissioning phases.
- Field Implementation
- Offer hands-on technical assistance to ensure successful project delivery and integration at client sites.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical (required).
- Familiarity with Revit and low-voltage control systems is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in technical writing and verbal communication.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks, adapt to shifting priorities, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
- Effective teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across all organizational levels.
- Willingness to travel for client design meetings and site visits.
