The 10R Team is looking for an engineer to help design, validate and launch the future Rear Wheel Hybrid Propulsion!
In this position...
+ This position will include work on current generation hybrid systems and the next gen RWD hybrid portfolio.
+ Serve as a “go fast” PD engineer responsible for RWD hybrid propulsion systems and their integration into vehicle spaces.
+ Take ownership of the DV and PV strategies to deliver a best in class hybrid system.
What you'll do...
+ Work as a team to improve part quality and increase the customer experience.
+ Lead teams through vehicle level and transmission level milestones.
+ Lead testing requirements and execution of system signoff requirements.
+ Must be in Livonia Michigan 3 days a week or more depending on specific testing/hardware needs.
+ Work with Ford Powertrain Manufacturing and Ford Vehicle Assembly Plants on manufacturing related improvement actions.
You'll have...
+ Bachelors degree in Engineering.
+ 3+ years of propulsion engineering experience.
+ Vehicle repair or vehicle diagnostics background.
+ Calibration and vehicle data collection knowledge.
Even better, you may have…
+ Caltools experience preferred; ATI, INCA, ETAS, etc.
+ Hands-on problem solver and strong root cause skills.
+ Independent,; self-starter when required.
+ Good communicator and can foster relationships with suppliers.
+ A “be curious” and “continued improvement” mindset.
+ A strong drive to both learn from and teach others.
