Structural Engineer (Special Projects)
We are looking for a qualified Structural Engineer for our Special Projects Group that is ready to take their career to the next level. You will have the opportunity to be directly involved in a wide variety of challenging projects including port developments, marine engineering, ferry terminals, shipyards, fish and wildlife facilities, naval facilities, small boat marinas, municipal structures, floating structures, and design-build infrastructure.
We are looking for self-motivated people who are eager to develop design and project management skills and who are passionate about providing exceptional client service.
Education/Requirements:
Our team is part of a dynamic 110+ person group in the Pacific Northwest and Long Beach California that provides project management, planning, civil & structural engineering, mechanical engineering, and machinery design. We provide these services on a wide range of project types through all stages of development.

Structural Engineer (Special Projects)

Education/Requirements:
- BS in Civil Engineering (with a Structural emphasis)
- MS in Civil Engineering is a plus (with a Structural emphasis)
- PE is required, SE a plus!
- Concrete, Steel, and Timber design experience.
- Pre-stressed concrete and seismic design experience.
- Familiarity with performance-based seismic design, non-linear push-over analysis, and soil-structure interaction analysis.
- Knowledge of ASCE 61-14, AASHTO, IBC, ASCE-7, AISC, ACI, and NDS.
- Proficiency in SAP2000, L-Pile, MS Excel, and VBA is preferred.
- An interest in working on a wide variety of non-building related project types
