Hybrid Senior Corporate Paralegal from Mattson Resources

About the Job
We currently have an opportunity for a Corporate Paralegal with a consumer electronics firm in the Warton, NJ area. The Corporate Paralegal will mostly work with the firm's outside counsel to handle legal matters and inquiries from the firm's business divisions. This is a hybrid role with remote flexibility.
Position responsibilities are:
- Review, organize, and update the firm's general contracts, as well as contracts for distributors, dealers, and vendors
- Handle matters to ensure Trademark compliance and verification as well as Social Media and Marketing Compliance and Anti-Trust Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the firm's warranties as well as FDA Compliance with and compliance with US customs regulations
- Handle issues related to e-commerce as well as data privacy
- Conduct research and advise the firm's business divisions regarding consumer product safety and inquiries from the Consumer Product Safety Commission
- Prepare corporate resolutions, including updates of bylaws and other corporate resolutions related to the firm's corporate structure and handle legal matters related to the firm's major product divisions
- Some litigation support when the need arises
- Address general legal issues from the firm's HR department when needed and oversee legal training by outside counsel for firm employees
Position requirements are:
- At least 10 years of experience as a Corporate Paralegal
- Demonstrated experience with compliance matters
- Experience with reviewing and updating contracts
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and client relations skills
