We are in search of a dynamic, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. This role is a unique blend of consulting and accounting, offering the opportunity to work on diverse projects with a wide range of clients. You will be responsible for managing financial functions including payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and preparing financial reports. This role will allow you to utilize your expertise in Annual Budget, Reconciliation, Fixed Assets, Year End Close, Income Statement, and Balance Sheet to drive financial clarity and profitability for our clients.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Leading and managing the entire accounting cycle, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, and general ledger entries.
2. Preparing and presenting financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
3. Conducting monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
4. Managing fixed assets by recording acquisitions and dispositions, calculating depreciation, and conducting periodic physical inventory counts.
5. Developing and maintaining the annual budget, including forecasting and variance analysis.
6. Leading the year-end close process, coordinating with external auditors as necessary.
7. Providing strategic financial consultation to clients, assisting in identifying and addressing financial opportunities and challenges.
8. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve financial procedures, processes, and overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA or MBA preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role with responsibilities including annual budget, reconciliation, fixed assets, year-end close, income statement, and balance sheet.
3. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
4. Proficiency with accounting software and experience with a software system implementation a plus.
5. Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to a non-financial audience.
7. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
9. Proven experience in financial analysis and forecasting.
10. High level of professionalism and integrity, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
