We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager for our dynamic finance team. This role will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever-changing tax specialties. You'll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. You will also work with the team to deliver quality tax service and advice to our clients.
Responsibilities:
As a Tax Manager, you will be responsible for a range of challenging and varied duties:
1. Preparing and reviewing C-Corp and S-Corp returns along with providing innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients.
2. Managing tax advisory services to high net worth individuals, closely-held entities, and businesses.
3. Utilizing CCH Axcess Tax Software for tax preparation and review.
4. Identifying and mitigating tax risks and implementing tax strategies that align with client's business objectives.
5. Coordinating and overseeing the work of team members for multiple client engagements.
6. Maintaining and developing strong client relationships through excellent customer service.
7. Keeping up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and policies that may impact clients.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:
1. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is mandatory.
2. Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in public accounting or related field.
3. Proven experience in C-Corp and S-Corp returns, tax preparation, and review.
4. Proficiency in using CCH Axcess Tax Software.
5. Previous experience in managing high net worth individuals and their complex tax situations.
6. Strong leadership, business development, recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
7. Comprehensive understanding of tax law and regulations.
8. Excellent problem-solving and project management skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
