We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This is a hybrid position, allowing for a blend of remote and in-office work, providing the perfect balance of flexibility and collaboration. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our litigation process, working closely with our attorneys to prepare for trials, manage case files, and conduct legal research. Experience in environmental law is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities:
The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for:
1. Managing both electronic and paper case files effectively and efficiently.
2. Preparing comprehensive reports to assist attorneys in their case preparation.
3. Utilizing litigation support tools like Casepoint and Relativity to manage e-discovery and document review processes.
4. Conducting legal research to support case development and legal strategies.
5. Assisting in the preparation for trials, including coordinating witnesses, preparing trial exhibits, and managing trial documents.
6. Handling calendar management and email correspondence to ensure smooth communication and coordination within the team and with clients.
7. Supporting the team in any additional tasks related to litigation support as required.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Litigation Paralegal position should possess the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
3. Proficiency in managing electronic and paper case files.
4. Strong experience in preparing reports and conducting legal research.
5. Proficiency in using litigation support tools like Casepoint and Relativity. Experience with e-discovery and document review processes is a must.
6. Experience in trial preparation, including coordinating witnesses, preparing trial exhibits, and managing trial documents.
7. Excellent calendar management and email correspondence skills.
8. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
10. Experience in environmental law will be considered a plus.
