The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting attorneys with foreclosure, collections, and related legal matters. This role requires a strong understanding of the legal processes and protocols, as well as a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
As a Hybrid Foreclosure & Collections Paralegal, you will be expected to:
1. Manage a high-volume caseload, ensuring all deadlines are met and cases are moved forward in a timely manner.
2. Draft and review legal documents including foreclosure letters, stipulation settlements, and post-judgment enforcement notices.
3. Prepare affirmative defenses and other relevant legal documentation.
4. Conduct legal research and assist with trial preparation.
5. Navigate electronic filing systems and efficiently manage case files.
6. Utilize legal case management software to track case progress and maintain organized records.
7. Ensure all activities comply with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and other relevant legal regulations.
8. Prepare for and assist in the execution of writs, wage garnishments, and other enforcement actions.
9. Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and court personnel, providing excellent communication and customer service.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, in mortgage foreclosure and collections.
2. Proven experience with electronic filing systems and legal document preparation.
3. Demonstrated proficiency in trial preparation and document review.
4. Familiarity with legal case management software.
5. Solid understanding of legal compliance, particularly in relation to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
6. Experience in preparing affirmative defenses and generating stipulation settlements.
7. Proven ability to prepare post-judgment enforcement notices, including writs of execution and wage garnishments.
8. A strong understanding of the mortgage foreclosure process.
9. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume caseload and meet strict deadlines.
10. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
11. A paralegal certificate or equivalent legal qualification is preferred.
