We are seeking a seasoned and dedicated Hybrid Paralegal to join our dynamic team in the legal industry. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a deep understanding of the family law. The successful candidate will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks including preparing assets, alimony, eDiscovery, and working with experts GALS and ARC. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience and an associate degree in a relevant field.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist attorneys in preparing for trials and court proceedings by compiling, arranging, and organizing pertinent information.
2. Manage the case preparation process, including gathering and analyzing data, coordinating with clients, and ensuring all necessary documentation is in order.
3. Handle the preparation of assets and alimony, ensuring all details are accurate and in compliance with legal standards.
4. Utilize eDiscovery tools to manage and organize electronic data effectively.
5. Collaborate with experts GALS and ARC to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
6. Maintain an organized and up-to-date calendar, scheduling meetings, court dates, and deadlines.
7. Stay abreast of family procedures, rules, and regulations to provide accurate and timely advice.
8. Assist in trial preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, and preparing exhibits and witness lists.
Qualifications:
1. Associate degree in Paralegal Studies, Law, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably within the Family Law
3. Proficient with eDiscovery software and tools.
4. Experience working with experts GALS and ARC.
5. Familiarity with preparing assets and alimony.
6. Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage a high-volume calendar.
7. Comprehensive knowledge of family procedures, rules, and regulations.
8. Proven experience in case and trial preparation.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
11. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
12. Ability to work in a hybrid work environment, balancing between remote and in-office work.
