Job Details
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Barred in Illinois, Indiana, or Michigan.
- 6-10+ years of experience specializing in securities law, ideally at a mid to large-sized law firm.
- Depending on experience the lawyer could be a senior associate, counsel, or partner (with no portable book needed).
- Must have public company experience and be able to take responsibility on deals, without a lot of oversight needed.
- Strong knowledge of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
- Mergers & acquisitions.
- Joint ventures.
- Private equity.
- Finance.
- Drafting, writing and analytical skills, accurate and strong attention to detail.
