Responsibilities:
Research, design, fabricate, and install HVAC mechanical equipment to meet client’s
requirements in both large and small projects.
Create and submit detailed quotes that outline costs and timelines for projects in accordance
with deadlines.
Consult on HVAC system and equipment design for a wide range of projects, and work with
other engineers, project managers, and HVAC service techs as needed to create and/or modify
design parameters.
Analyze HVAC systems and equipment when necessary to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and
create solutions to optimize performance and increase the efficiency of operation.
Proficiency with BAS/controls systems such as Tridium and Niagara
Communicate directly with customers, service manager, director of facilities, property managers
to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications, and operational environments
in order to evaluate cost, feasibility, and implementation of new HVAC equipment.
Serve as project leader to coordinate efforts of service manager, property managers, service
personnel during all project phases.
Determining facility and equipment specifications.
Analyzing project costs and preparing budgets.
Developing capital improvement projects and negotiating associated contracts.
Planning and coordinating infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
Preparing reports and compliance documentation.
Working alongside Property Managers to ensure that the properties are operating effectively
and that all initiatives are completed timely and consistently across the portfolio.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering strongly preferred
5+ years of experience as facilities engineer or in a similar role.
Experience in all aspects of physical maintenance including but not limited to: HVAC systems,
building automation systems, HVAC controls.
Team leadership and management experience.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Project management skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Proactive thinker with excellent execution skills and a leadership mentality.
Excellent work ethic with strong verbal/written skills and professional demeanor.
