HVAC Technician
$18-22/hr, depending on experience
Contract, potential for permanent hire

Responsibilities
Preventative Maintenance such as routine inspections, cleaning, and maintenance on HVAC systems including filters, coils, motors, belts, and condensate drains to prevent breakdowns and maximize efficiency.
Troubleshooting and Repair - Diagnose and repair malfunctions on a variety of HVAC equipment such as chillers, boilers, air handlers, rooftop units, and fan coils, including electrical and control system issues.
System Installations and Upgrades - Assist with the installation of new HVAC systems or components, including pipefitting, wiring, and refrigerant charging, as needed for renovations or building expansions.
Documentation and Reporting - Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs, parts used, and system performance data, adhering to established documentation procedures.
Compliance - Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, including EPA refrigerant handling guidelines.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of HVAC experience, commercial setting preferred
- Valid EPA Universal Certification.
- Technical Skills - Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial HVAC systems, including knowledge of various HVAC controls and building automation systems.
- Physical Requirements - Ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, lift heavy equipment, and work in various weather conditions.
