Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot control systems and wiring for HVAC equipment including thermostats, sensors, relays, contactors, switches, and other electrical components
- Read and interpret blueprints / technical manuals
- Inspect and test control wiring to ensure proper connection
- Program, calibrate and fine-tune systems to optimize performance
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance
- Respond to service calls and troubleshoot wiring problems, diagnosing electrical systems
- Adhere to all codes and regulations
- Follow all safety procedures and stay up to date on industry advancements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HVAC control wiring technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical principles and wiring techniques in HVAC control systems
- Familiar with electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- HVAC Controls / Wiring: 3-year experience (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
