Your Role as an HVAC Technician

As an HVAC Technician, you'll handle preventive maintenance, repairs, installation, and commissioning of building automation control systems. This role involves customer-focused, hands-on work, troubleshooting complex systems, and delivering high-quality service. You’ll also document your work and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Start up, commission, and re-commission systems with Direct Digital Control (DDC) technology.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently.
• Work with HVAC systems like boilers, VAV systems, and chilled/hot water systems.
• Accurately complete all commissioning and As-Built documentation.
• Provide site-specific training to owners/operators on system use.
• Communicate clearly with clients to ensure satisfaction at every step.
• Maintain job progress records and report updates to the Project Manager.
• Follow strict safety protocols for both yourself and team members.
• Use your strong networking and computer skills to maintain and troubleshoot devices.

What You Need to Succeed

• High School Diploma or GED.
• OSHA 30 Certification.
• 2+ years of experience in HVAC controls.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of building control systems and mechanical equipment operations.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to climb ladders, use lift equipment, and lift up to 50 lbs.
