Are you a skilled HVAC professional with a passion for customer service and excellence? At McCrea Heating and Air Conditioning Services of VA, we're looking for motivated HVAC Service Technicians to join our family-owned business. Duties:

• Perform installation, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems including:
  • Oil/Gas furnaces
  • Oil/Gas boilers
  • Heat pumps
  • Geothermal systems
  • Air conditioners
  • Air handling units
  • Water heaters
• Safely handle various refrigerant gases, fuel oils, natural gas, and propane.
• Work with voltages up to 480 volts 3 phase safely and effectively.
• Proficient in brazing with high-temperature torches using propane, acetylene, and oxygen.
• Able to work safely with high-pressure nitrogen and refrigerants.

Physical Requirements:

• Comfortable working in confined spaces (attics, basements, closets, crawl spaces).
• Able to work at heights (rooftops, ceilings, ladders) and adapt to extreme temperatures.
• Physically capable of bending, crawling, stooping, stretching, and reaching.
• Able to work on uneven surfaces, from ladders, and safely lift up to 40 pounds.

License and Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• EPA certified CFC card for at least one category.
• Technician must obtain a State Apprentice HVACR License within 90 days of hire (specific to the state of employment).
• Technician expected to obtain a state Journeyman’s HVACR license within 2 years of hire date.
