A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HVAC SERVICE MANAGER
As our HVAC Service Manager, you ensure the success and profitability of the service department. You plan, direct, and control scheduling, safety, customer service, training, and labor control. You build the bridge between our company's and our clients' interests. The trust that you develop with our clients keeps them coming back to us for all their HVAC needs. Within company policies, you also establish department objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
Riding along on service calls to maintain quality standards, you lead by example and inspire all field personnel to take pride in their work. Always approachable, you answer questions cheerfully and with the goal of helping everyone succeed. You cultivate an open, honest, team-oriented, healthy, and vital work culture. As a goal-oriented problem-solver, you are always looking for ways to proactively improve customer satisfaction. While you do spend a lot of time out in the field, you are also organized and keep on top of all your administrative duties. At the end of each day, you can feel great about knowing your service technician crew went above and beyond for our customers!
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years of HVAC field tech or HVAC supervisor experience
- 3+ years of managerial experience
