Job Details
- Oversees and manages the HVAC service department, ensuring efficient operation and timely completion of service requests.
- Provides technical support and guidance to HVAC technicians to meet service demands and exceed customer expectations.
- Supervises and directs HVAC technicians in performing equipment repair, service, installation, start-up, and other related duties.
- Implements and maintains a regular training program to ensure HVAC technicians are properly trained.
- Reviews work orders and repair recommendations for accuracy, making necessary changes as needed.
- Assists in estimating and preparing bids for contract projects.
- Conducts prestart-up inspections and ensures proper turnover of equipment to the owner.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of service operations.
- Monitors and maintains inventory of parts, tools, and equipment necessary for service operations.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, codes, and standards related to HVAC service and installation.
- Tracks and analyzes service performance metrics, such as response time, customer satisfaction, and technician productivity, and implements improvement initiatives as needed.
- Resolves customer complaints and concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction.
