We are looking for a dynamic, experienced, and highly skilled HVAC/ Refrigeration Technician to join our team in the construction industry. This is a permanent position with an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including commercial and industrial. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a deep understanding of Air conditioners, forced hot air systems, mini-split systems, wall and floor heaters, chillers, and ice machines.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems and their components.
Inspect and test HVAC and refrigeration systems and components to ensure they are operating efficiently and safely.
Diagnose and repair any malfunctions in the HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Perform regular maintenance tasks such as replacing filters, lubricating parts, and cleaning coils.
Prepare and submit job reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Provide excellent customer service, responding to service calls in a timely manner and resolving issues efficiently.
Work closely with the project management team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in the HVAC and refrigeration industry.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC/ Refrigeration Technician in the construction industry.
Proven experience with forced hot air systems, mini-split systems, wall and floor heaters, chillers, and ice machines.
EPA Universal Certification is required.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of HVAC and refrigeration system design and functionality.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment.
Knowledge of local HVAC codes and ability to make on-the-job applications.
Proven track record of safety and effectiveness.
High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
Valid driver's license.
