Job Opportunity: Commercial HVAC/R Technician

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Commercial HVAC/R Technician with EPA Certification to join their talented team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems. Candidates with hot-side experience are strongly encouraged to apply. This hands-on role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of HVAC/R and kitchen equipment in commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems, including gas ovens, fryers, boilers, furnaces, and water heaters.
• Work on steam boilers, steam warmers, dish machines, and steam kettles, ensuring efficiency and safety.
• Handle electrical components confidently, including electric stoves and fryers, using voltmeters and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on walk-in coolers/freezers, ice machines, rooftop units, split systems, and rack systems.
• Deliver outstanding customer service, providing clear communication regarding equipment status, repairs, and maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and adhere to safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

• EPA Certification (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Strong preference for candidates with hot-side equipment experience (e.g., gas ovens, fryers, boilers).
• Proficiency in interpreting wiring diagrams and using diagnostic tools like voltmeters.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair a variety of HVAC/R and kitchen equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to job sites as needed.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
