HVAC Project Technician

Some of the responsibilities for a mechanical installation technician will be:
- Assisting a team with the installation of commercial building HVAC equipment.
- Maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform startup of newly installed equipment.
- Refrigerant removal and installation.
- Continue to learn new installation and service practices.
- Maintain company vehicle and property.
- Keep team leaders informed of job progress.
Qualified candidates will meet the following:
- 2 years minimum commercial installation/ service experience.
- A degree in HVAC is a plus.
- EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
- Valid NC driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to work with a team and self-motivated.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Blueprint interpretation is a plus.
- Leadership experience is a plus.
- Ability to work on some after-hours projects.
- Experience in piping, electrical, commercial controls, and sheet metal is a plus.
- Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment
