HVAC Project Manager

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position that will require in excess of 40 hours per week.

Summary/Objective:

Provide field management oversight of residential HVAC Installations to meet quality standards, to meet customer expectations, and completion within the job cost budget.

Essential Functions:

• Evaluate and continually improve the systems and processes used for project management to effectively meet customer requirements and profitability goals.
• Review the overall contractual requirements for all projects and specific design methodology for individual projects as required.
• Ensure schedule requirements are met for all projects. Readily adjust priorities based upon changing customer needs, resource availability, and job requirements.
• Interact with the customer to validate expectations are understood and met before, during and after project completion.
• Provide oversight for third-party construction firms.
• Proactively and systematically communicate challenges, risks, and successes.
• Provide stock lists based on site evaluations

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Project management skills and managing projects from beginning to final completion
• Computer skills (Word, Excel, Office 360, Inventory software)
• Experience using CRM software (Service Titan is a plus)
• Hands on HVAC Installation experience
• Ability to handle escalated customer issues and solve in timely manner

Education or License Requirements:

• Plumbing, Sheetmetal or Universal EPA preferred but not required

Supervisory Responsibilities: Experience managing the output and quality of HVAC Installation Technicians.
