What you will do:
We are looking for highly technical HVAC Maintenance Technicians with residential experience that can promptly and effectively maintain air conditioning and heating units using prior knowledge.
- Maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Track repairs and work completed in trade software, Service Titan.
- Engage with customer/client to inform them of issue, solution and outcome; recommend products and services for optimal system performance.
What you need:
- Minimum 1 year of experience with preventative maintenance of residential HVAC equipment, including heat pumps, gas furnaces, air conditioning units, etc.
- Must have strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- E. Dennis may conduct a preemployment background check and drug test, subject to applicable law.
- Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions.
- Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, and the parts and installation teams.
- Keep your company truck clean, inside and out, and maintain inventory
- Properly complete paperwork.
- Join the on-call rotation.
- Participate in training allowing you to grow and develop as a professional.
- Have or be willing to get the proper certifications. We can help you with this.
You must have these things:
- Good work ethic and willingness to learn new methods.
- A valid US Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug test and background check
