HVAC Maintenance Mechanic - Jewish Community Center of Staten Island

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: You will perform a variety of equipment and building maintenance repairs including cleaning, event support, grounds keeping, pool operation, basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and other tasks assigned. This is a full-time, 40-hour position.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and equipment.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of grounds and pool areas.
• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks.
• Complete painting and carpentry projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in maintenance or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
