HVAC Install Helper- Anne Arundel - Boothe Heating, Air, Plumbing and Drains

Boothe's is currently seeking HVAC Install Helpers to join our Anne Arundel team comprised of creative and energetic employees, who are dedicated to delivering the best customer service experience every day. Our Install Helpers perform basic HVAC tasks, assist our experienced HVAC Installers, and provide exceptional customer service at ALL times by treating customers with the utmost respect and attention. The position will provide on the job training and learning while requiring adherence to workplace procedures, following health and safety guidance, and successfully completing tasks to help you gain further HVAC licenses/certifications.

What Will I Do?

• Assist installation of all brands and types of HVAC units.
• Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from workstations and other areas.
• Adjust, connect, or disconnect wiring, piping, tubing, and other parts, using hand or power tools.
• Communicating efficiently with management, dispatch, and the customer to ensure overall success of the company.
• Keeping accurate invoices and time sheets.
• Clean or lubricate vehicles, machinery, equipment, instruments, tools, work areas, and other objects, using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment.
• Maintaining a clean, organized job site and inventoried truck.

Do I have What it Takes?

• Mechanical aptitude
• 1-2 years of experience as an HVAC install helper required 
• Apprentice license (required to have on start date)              
• Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders, work in attics, garages, crawl spaces and on roofs. 
• Integrity and ability to promote a positive company image.          
• Provide exceptional customer service while on the job site.          
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks daily.          
• Results driven in a high-energy environment.          
• Attention to detail.          
• Must be able to follow directions and work independently.
• Must have a clean criminal background and drug screen.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
