The ideal candidate will have strong estimating skills, a solid understanding of project management principles, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients and subcontractors. This role is essential in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate HVAC project estimates, including labor, materials, and time requirements.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of HVAC projects, ensuring compliance with all specifications and standards.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications to provide detailed estimates.
- Utilize project management software to track project progress and budgets.
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and progress as needed.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring a collaborative work environment.
- Bachelors degree Mechanical Engineering, Building Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering Technology
- 10+ years experience in Commercial HVAC estimating
- Proficiency with project management software, preferably Procore or similar.
- Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce is a plus.
- Self-starter with strong work ethic
- Experience with estimating software such as Fast Pipe and Fast Duct is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop budgets and timelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
