Human Services Representative Job Summary:
This position is serves as the first point of contact in the Human Resource department to all applicants, visitors and associates.
Human Services Representative Responsibilities:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for all in-person, phone, and email inquiries to the Human Resources Department.
- Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism, courtesy, and respect in alignment with the Hospital’s mission.
- Provide administrative support to various HR teams as required, including data entry, file organization, and correspondence preparation.
- Manage and respond to incoming calls and emails promptly, directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with clerical tasks such as document filing, records maintenance, and scheduling meetings.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills to address inquiries and resolve routine issues.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment to meet department goals.
Human Services Representative Knowledge & Experience:
- One-year general office experience, with significant experience in the operation of personal computer
- Prior Human Resources experience preferred
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Proficient in the operation of personal computer and demonstrated proficiency in PC applications including spreadsheet and word processing
- Demonstrate strong customer service and critical thinking skills
- Detail oriented
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Experience answering telephones and document filing
Pay Rate & Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 8 am to 5 pm
- $20/hour
