SUMMARY: Reports to and assists Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources in recruiting, interviewing, screening, hiring and onboarding new employees by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
Obtains work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements to provide information about the organization and position.
Performs reference and background checks on applicants.
Files and maintains employment records for future references.
Coordinates staff information for the Board Report for Human Resources Personnel Report.
Partner with payroll to ensure information and documents are submitted for proper employee compensation
Manages and Monitors the human resource HRIS system.
Monitors and coordinates student teachers with university partnerships.
Monitor staff performance and employee changes for all staff members.
Verifies and monitors staff credentials in background checks
Help ensure proper orientation and placement for new employees
Performs other duties as assigned.

- Experience with Human Resources Information System and/or database systems for collection, tracking and reporting of data.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Two to three years related experience and/or training or Bachelor's degree from four year college or university in Human Resources or related field, preferred.
- Experience with full cycle staffing/onboarding for certificated and non-certificated staff within a school district is required.
- Successful completion of background check by Human Resources.
