The HR Shared Services Team Lead will provide essential administrative support to the HR department, specifically focusing on facilitating the efficient functioning of HR shared services operations. Aiming to deliver exceptional HR services, this role plays a vital part in supporting employees, managers, and various stakeholders across the
organization.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the HR Shared Services team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to team
members enabling them to maximise their contribution and develop themselves and their careers
in line with their realistic aspirations. - Oversee the daily operations of HR Shared Services, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of HR
services to employees, managers, and stakeholders. - Develop and implement standardized processes, policies, and procedures within HR Shared Services
to optimize service delivery. - Serve as a point of escalation for complex employee queries and issues, providing guidance and
resolutions as needed. - Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition Team, and other stakeholders to ensure
effective coordination and alignment of HR services. - Monitor and analyze service delivery metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying
areas for improvement and implementing action plans to enhance service quality. - Identify training and development needs within the HR Shared Services team, and provide coaching
and support to enhance team members' skills and knowledge. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and industry practices, ensuring compliance
and proactively incorporating changes into HR Shared Services operations. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging technology and tools to streamline HR
processes and enhance efficiency. - Support HR reporting and analytics by compiling, analyzing, and presenting HR data and metrics for
informed decision-making.
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline (e.g., Human Resources, Business Administration or related field) is required
- Minimum of 5 years experience in HR or HR Shared Services roles, demonstrating a strong understanding of HR processes and practices as well as leading or supervising a team.
- ADP experience required
- Experience with HR technology and use of HR Information Systems
- Experience in collaborating with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and alignment of HR services
- In-depth knowledge of HR operations and shared services functions, such as employee data management, HRIS administration, benefits administration, and employee services.
- Strong understanding of HR practices, policies and regulations
- Strong organizational skills, good stakeholder management, collaboration and teamwork
- Exposure to the pharmaceutical, biotech or CRO industry desired
