We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Representative to join our growing team in the construction industry. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to play a vital role in supporting our workforce, promoting a positive company culture, and helping to shape our human resources policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a particular emphasis on training and development.
Responsibilities:
As a Human Resources Representative, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including:
1. Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
2. Managing the recruitment and selection process to ensure a high-quality and diverse candidate pool.
3. Overseeing employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures.
4. Designing and delivering training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
5. Ensuring legal compliance throughout human resource management.
6. Maintaining employee records and HR documents, including contracts and agreements.
7. Conducting performance and wage reviews, and working closely with management to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
8. Coordinating with management and staff to assess training needs and develop relevant training programs.
9. Providing guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
4. Strong experience in designing and delivering training programs.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
6. Proven ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and build strong relationships at all levels of an organization.
7. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
9. Knowledge of labor law and HR practices.
