Job Description
The Recruiting & HR Coordinator supports attorney and professional staff recruiting efforts and human resources activities. This role includes managing full-cycle recruiting, facilitating onboarding, supporting professional development programs, and assisting with performance management. The role works collaboratively across offices and provides operational HR support for the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruiting Coordination
- Monitor the Careers inbox; create candidate profiles in viDesktop.
- Schedule virtual and in-person interviews for attorney and staff candidates.
- Track application status, interview evaluations, and offers extended.
- Draft and send candidate communications, including welcome, confirmation, and rejection letters.
- Human Resources Support
- Manage new hire orientation schedules and onboarding activities.
- Track attorney bar admissions, CLE compliance, and assist with CLE accreditation processes.
- Provide support for professional development and performance management processes.
- Event Support
- Coordinate and provide onsite support for recruiting events (e.g., Clerkship Receptions, JIOP receptions).
- General Administration
- Create and manage viDesktop credentials for employees.
- Manage search firm fee agreements and other recruiting documentation in NetDocs.
- Serve as a back-up for local administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelors degree required.
- Experience
- 2+ years in recruiting and/or HR, preferably at an AmLaw 200 firm or boutique litigation firm.
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting, interview coordination, and new hire orientation.
- Familiarity with viDesktop or similar talent management systems.
- Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional time management, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across offices.
