About the Job
Hartwig is seeking a self-motivated, creative and results oriented HR Recruiter to contribute to Hartwig's success as a CNC Machine Tool distributor. As an experienced talent acquisition professional, you will play a critical role in identifying and sourcing high-quality candidates to meet our business needs. You will manage the full-cycle recruitment process while providing an exceptional candidate experience.
This is a full-time position based in our St. Louis office.
The Job:
- Full-cycle talent acquisition efforts from job posting, sourcing, interviewing, to offer negotiation.
- Hartwig's brand ambassador, utilize various talent sourcing methods - job boards, social media, resume searches, networking, and the ATS to engage quality candidates.
- Conduct interviews to evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Manage pre-hire assessment completion.
- Work with hiring leaders to understand job requirements, define candidate profiles, and ensure alignment of hiring timeline.
- Facilitate job offers, including compensation negotiations while maintaining internal equity. Provide input on market compensation fluctuations.
- Manage onboarding process to include welcome gifts, new employee orientation, completion of new hire documents and personnel file creation.
- KPIs related to recruitment and provide regular updates on hiring progress, challenges, and outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, federal and state employment laws and industry best practices throughout the recruitment process.
- Analyze recruitment efforts that support our annual Affirmative Action Plans. Identify process improvements to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Partner with human resources team members on various projects to evolve HR strategically to support company and team members.
- Expand HR knowledge by learning additional areas of HR (benefits, compliance, co-worker relations), as recruitment levels allow.
The Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a recruiter or talent acquisition specialist, ideally in a technical/manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record with utilizing sourcing methods to find qualified candidates.
- Professionalism, strong interpersonal communication skills and proactive ability to build long-term relationships
- Proficiency in using an ATS, HRIS software, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team, environment using sound judgement and ability to identify and address workplace issues
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
