This role is located at our Arden Hills, MN corporate headquarters (hybrid work arrangement each week)
Portfolio Management Activities (50%)
- Lead strategic portfolio management activities by overseeing the HR portfolio, creating detailed plans for each phase, and analyzing key performance indicators to generate comprehensive reports on HR programs and projects.
- Co-create enterprise frameworks for portfolio management practices, ensuring the design and maturity of the portfolio management framework align with organizational objectives.
- Develop and maintain the HR function's scorecard by coordinating strategic priority planning sessions, defining relevant KPIs and metrics for HR program effectiveness and return on investment, and monitoring progress against the scorecard to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct portfolio reviews and checkpoint meetings to ensure effective management of HR initiatives, identifying areas for enhancement in HR portfolio management and implementing best practices to boost team skills.
- Collaborate with HR COEs, HR Leadership, and operations teams to pinpoint opportunities for process and program improvements, fostering continuous enhancement in organizational effectiveness.
Project Management Activities (40%)
- Manage and oversee projects for large-scale business changes related to organization and HR management while contributing to establishing common practices, tools, and templates for HR portfolio management
People Leadership (10%)
- Oversee and manage a team of two project managers/agile resources, focusing on coaching, career development mentoring, and service delivery excellence.
Experience and Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related required.
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management managing large-scale projects required.
- 2 + years experience in Human Resources highly desired.
- 2+ years of experience in managing Portfolios or Programs highly desired.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines, relationship-building skills, proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Forms and Power Automate
