ABOUT THE POSITION
The position will assist with various HR/ Payroll functions including time keeping, payroll, program administration, employee communications and other related duties.
Responsibilities
- Maintain personnel and medical files for active and terminated employees.
- Provide customer service and assistance to employees and visitors to the HR department as needed.
- Must ensure activities are in compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations (eg. FMLA, ADA, EEO and FLSA).
- Participate in the development and execution of site/region level strategies to improve Organizational health and culture.
- Backup for the payroll coordinator.
- Compile, reconcile and validate completeness of daily time reporting in adherence with Company policy and government requirements.
- Monitor and report on timing reporting compliance.
- Provide system support to operations on time reporting and compliance.
- Analyze time reporting for accuracy.
- All other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications
- U.S. Persons
- High School Diploma required.
- Associates in the field of business administration, finance or human resources preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Office experience required manufacturing experience a plus.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills
