Reporting to the Global Director of Human Resources, the HR Payroll & Benefits Administrator is responsible for the timely processing of bi-weekly multi-state payroll and the administration of employee benefits programs. This role ensures compliance with applicable laws, maintains meticulous records, and provides excellent support to employees regarding payroll and benefits inquiries. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Payroll Administration:
- Process and manage bi-weekly payroll for domestic employees, ensuring compliance with local, state, federal, and international regulations.
- Verify and reconcile payroll data, including timecards, tax withholdings, and benefits deductions.
- Administer payroll processes related to restricted stock units (RSUs)employee stock option exercises, ensuring proper tax withholding and accurate reporting of vesting and settlement events.
- Process employee 401(k) contributions, employer matching, and adjustments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IRS regulations. Collaborate with plan administrators for testing, reporting, and ensuring compliance with ERISA requirements.
- Process Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) deductions and coordinate with benefits administrators to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Act as a liaison between employees, finance, and external vendors to resolve payroll -related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Benefits Administration:
- Administer comprehensive employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, flexible spending accounts (FSA), health savings accounts (HSA), retirement plans (401(k)), and wellness initiatives.
- Process employee enrollments, changes, and terminations in benefits plans via our online portal.
- Ensure accurate and timely enrollment, changes, and termination of benefits for employees during onboarding, qualifying life events, and offboarding.
- Coordinate with benefits vendors and carriers to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with benefits-related regulations, such as ACA and COBRA.
- Assist with online open enrollment and provide guidance to employees regarding their benefits options.
Employee Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and benefits inquiries.
- Provide training and support to employees on using payroll and benefits systems.
- Deliver excellent customer service by addressing employee concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
Human Resources
- Provides administrative support to the HR department, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations. This role involves assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, benefits coordination, and other HR-related tasks.
- Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts, offer letters, and termination paperwork.
- Assist with Performance Appraisal Process annually.
- Scheduling interviews, meetings, and HR-related events.
- Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, such as recognition programs, Holiday events, team-building events, and wellness activities.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining HR initiatives, such as training programs or policy updates.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HRIS systems (experience with Paylocity and Employee Navigator is a plus).
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with a Manufacturing environment preferred.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Familiarity with benefits administration and compliance requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects & assume responsibility and take independent action.
- Expertise in evaluating, and maintaining a good working relationship with all levels of employees
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
Education:
Associates Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration (preferred)
