Human Resources/Payroll & Accounts Payable Manager - Medina Valley Health & Rehabilitation

Medina Valley is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources/Payroll/AP Manager to join our Team in Castroville, Texas!

Position Purpose

The purpose of this position is to organize and maintain all records related to Human Resources, Payroll & Accounts Payable in an effective, efficient, financially sound manner.

Pay: $49,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of the bi-weekly payroll using Paylocity and Attendance on Demand systems.
• Ensure all employees are paid accurately.
• Review & process payroll adjustments, including vacation, bonuses and overtime.
• Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and Supervisors.
• Maintain & update employees personnel files.
• Orientation & onboarding of new employees.
• Maintains confidentiality of all information.
• Monitor licensing of all staff and ensure all licenses remain in active status.
• Effective communication with residents, families, facility staff and others.

Accounts Payable Duties

• Review all payable invoices and process for timely payment.
• Maintain accounts payable files.
• Obtain W-9s for new vendors.
• Contact vendors with any billing issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience in payroll and benefits, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
• Excellent attendance record and punctuality
• Able to work independently, self-starter, energetic.
• Accounts Payable experience, required.
• Must have good communication & organizational skills.
• Possesses the ability to manage time efficiently to accomplish goals and tasks.
• Assist in preparing reports.
• Physical & sensory abilities commensurate with position to include but not limited to lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
