Position Summary: Meet's client is seeking a high-performing HR Operations Associate. This position will serve as an experienced background investigator, overseeing global pre-employment screenings and background investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews, retrieve records, conduct research, and prepare reports of investigations in compliance with federal standards and regulations.
- Compile clear and concise reports that assess employment suitability and security clearance eligibility.
- Perform impartial, fact-based pre-employment investigations, efficiently managing and delivering investigation reports within agreed deadlines.
- Identify information gaps and inconsistencies, strategizing effective ways to gather necessary data, including conducting remote candidate interviews.
- Execute criminal background checks and civil lawsuit verifications using public records.
- Organize and streamline the background check process with comprehensive lists.
- Maintain professional communication with clients and stakeholders, ensuring adherence to quality and timeliness metrics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of relevant general experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in performing background investigations.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, ServiceNow) and strong data management capabilities.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a customer-focused environment with an emphasis on service level agreements (SLAs) and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of case management solutions, with ServiceNow experience preferred.
- Advanced technical skills in MS Office, Workday, and other relevant technologies.
- Ensuring timely follow-up and responses to inquiries (internal and external) within 24 hours.
