About the Job
Our client, a Boston-based nonprofit, is looking to hire an HR Operations Specialist on a direct hire basis. This individual will oversee key HR and administrative functions, working with vendors to manage payroll, benefits, and compliance. They will lead onboarding and offboarding processes, administer employee timesheets and leave tracking, and support the performance review cycle. Additionally, they will supervise an Operations Coordinator, ensuring the maintenance of office operations, safety, and vendor relationships. With a focus on employee engagement, they will drive professional development, wellness initiatives, and a positive workplace culture. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in HR Administration, Office Management, or a related field
- Proficiency in HRIS systems
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience collaborating with vendors and contractors

- Familiarity with Salesforce
- SHRM certification or training
