Position Overview::This position will direct and lead human resource activities and programs to ensure alignment and execution of HR initiatives with plant and business objectives. Build and maintain effective relationships with the workforce and engage employees and plant management in organization design activities that foster and sustain a high-performance work culture. Drive continuous improvement in the areas of organization effectiveness, staffing, employee relations, performance management, training and development, benefits, employment practices and compliance.
What you will do::- Support organization change, collaborate and partner with plant leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement in alignment with plant and HR goals.
- Act as liaison between department managers and employees in resolving issues/disputes and conducting internal investigations.
- Lead activities in the development of departmental goals, objectives and systems.
- Oversee nonexempt personnel, conduct new-employee orientations, monitor career-pathing program, employee relations counseling, and exit interviewing.
- Execute and annually support compensation program, rewrite job descriptions as necessary, develop merit pool (salary budget), analyze compensation, monitor the performance evaluation program and revise as necessary.
- Develop and maintain file EEO-1 annually, maintain other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Track and analyze plant HR metrics to determine root cause. Develop and execute action plans to address problem areas.
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years of human resources experience
- 5 + years of HR management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Detail and results oriented with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Ethical conduct with the ability to handle confidential matters.
- Strategic thinker with decision making skills.
- Experience with ADP is a plus.
