About the Job
Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department to include LOA's, all of the recruitment and employment functions, HRIS, and employee relations for the all of the Physician Practices. Responsible for meeting with visiting regulatory agencies and ensuring that the department remains DOH ready. Responsible for ensuring that the department complies with state and federal regulations.
· Supervise Human Resources Department within the Physician Practices.
· Will manage all of the Human Resources Generalist(s) and any other HR staff performance reviews and provide feedback to staff and administration using performance management.
· Will coach, mentor, and influence technical leadership, as well as, foster teamwork within the HR Department to coach and counsel behaviors.
· Recruit qualified applicants for a wide variety of positions including, but not limited to, Physician Practice staff, administrative staff, and professional staff.
· Interview applicants, extend offers to qualified applicants, and initiate the respective locations onboarding process.
· Oversees the day-to-day business operations of the entire department to include hiring, firing, training, disciplinary action, appraisals and time and attendance schedules.
· Respond in a timely manner as HR point-of-contact for HR related questions including: LOA, Benefits, employee relations, etc.
· Point person for all LOA and worker's compensation inquiries.
· Guide and familiarize Managers on HR policies, procedures, and laws.
· Investigates all employee complaints and issues brought to Human Resources and provides mediation and/or follow up to employees and managers of outcomes.
· Advise employees of HR policy changes, important administrative updates, and benefit changes.
· Responsible for all HRIS entry and upkeep of HR files for all Physician Practice employees.
· Present and aide in presenting New Hire Orientation.
· Responsible for initiating and planning various recruitment venues to enhance the quality and quantity of the applicant pool (i.e. †Open Interview Days, Panel Interviewing and Open Houses). Prepares editorials and suggests creative recruitment strategies to advertising agency. Works closely with executive search firms for management position(s) sourcing.
· Prepares or writes policies as needed.
· Meets with various regulatory body representatives upon their visitation.
· Other office and administrative responsibilities, assigned by supervisor(s), as deemed necessary.
