Scope of responsibilities include:
- Collaborative team player with hands-on work style, strong customer-service orientation and the ability to build strong and supportive partnerships.
- Provides overall management for the U.S human resource, talent acquisition, benefits, and payroll functions.
- Works closely with key leaders to understand business issues and identifies opportunities and initiatives as a response to address those challenges.
- Ensures Payroll functions are properly aligned to business goals and practices.
- Responsible for the oversight of Benefits Administration and programs for the organization including wellness initiatives and actions for the organization.
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, representing the organization at hearings, and interpreting Company policy for managers and employees.
- Oversee and provide support to corporate Talent Acquisition Team
- Ensures the integrity of the data in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and facilitates the use of the system by ensuring that users are trained, and that information can be retrieved and manipulated efficiently.
- Develops U.S. HR team members to improve skill level, ensure adherence to principles, policies and standards and to improve safety, quality and process reliability in a cost-effective manner. Facilitates communications, problem resolution and provides appropriate feedback, both positive and corrective within the team.
- Works closely with HSE to support any initiatives and policies required.
Qualifications:
- Must have strong employee relations and business partner experience.
- Must demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills to help develop a high performing team
- Demonstrates the ability to interpret and apply relevant policies and procedures. Shows evidence of good organization and project planning skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel, as well as external suppliers and organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management or a related field.
- Ten plus years of professional experience applying fundamental concepts, practices and procedures in Human Resources. Must have a minimum of 5 years in a HR management role with multiple direct reports.
- PHR or SPHR or SHRM -CP or SHRM - SCP Certification required
- Multi-state experience with HR compliance, payroll, and benefits practices required
- Ability to travel required
- Proficiency using Microsoft 365
- HRIS and Payroll systems experience required. Previous experience using Ultimate Software (UKG) a plus!

- Bachelors or better - Required
