Responsibilities
- Oversee, refine, and execute employee standards and procedures, while revamping existing HR systems and processes
- Maintain and enhance employee benefits programs (compensation, 401(k), health insurance, sick and vacation time, and expense reimbursement)
- Oversee payroll processing with strong knowledge in Wage & Hour law
- Ensure legal compliance with all applicable federal, state and municipal laws, conduct investigations and maintain accurate records relating to Workers’ Compensation, LOA, I-9 and other claims
- Champion the recruitment and onboarding process, ensuring CAM's Career Path is of high quality, providing training, clarity and connection for all employees regarding their roles
- Develop and support strategic HR plans for all service lines (talent acquisition, employee retention, and talent management)
- Plan and monitor regular developmental conversations with employees, handle grievances, and train managers on employee coaching and discipline
- Maintain strong relationships with external suppliers (legal, insurance, TPAs)
- Handle confidential matters with discretion
- Report directly to the company President
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5-plus years of experience in Human Resources with a track record of progressive advancement
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and writing skills, with a strong ethical mindset
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Competency in HRIS software (Inova, a plus) and MS Office suite
Compensation
- Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
- Annual Bonus: Up to 20% of base salary based on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Total annual cash compensation up to $120,000
- Benefits: Sick time, vacation, medical (HMO), and 401(k) match
