Are you a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager looking to take your career to the next level in the exciting world of finance? We are seeking a proactive and dedicated individual to join our team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources, including hiring, onboarding, training, employee evaluations, and compliance. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and positive work environment, coordinating various employee events, and managing medical benefits and workers compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the hiring and onboarding process, assisting hiring managers with recruiting and interview scheduling.
- Manage onboarding using Paylocity and complete new hire orientation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personnel files.
- Complete employment verification requests in a timely manner.
- Perform regular employee and manager trainings to ensure a well-rounded and skilled workforce.
- Assist managers with annual employee evaluations and implement employee discipline if necessary.
- Ensure full compliance with Federal and California law in all employment practices, including wage and hourly issues, leaves of absence, and handling of employee complaints.
- Develop and maintain an ongoing safety training program for office staff, coordinating with safety teams for on-site training.
- Work closely with the executive leadership team to plan and coordinate various employee appreciation and development events.
- Manage medical benefits, enrollments, and oversee workers compensation renewals and claims.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the management.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources Manager role preferred.
- Proven experience in managing the hiring and onboarding process, conducting employee training, and overseeing compliance.
- Familiarity with Paylocity or similar HR management software.
- Excellent knowledge of employment laws and regulations, particularly Federal and California law.
- Proven ability to manage and resolve employee complaints professionally.
- Experience in coordinating safety training and managing medical benefits and workers compensation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
