Objective:
The Employee Recruitment & Onboarding Manager is responsible for managing our employee experience at Dieterich Bank. Beginning with the hiring process and orientation, through performance management and career development. This position will play a key role in maintaining our employer of choice designation.
Essential Duties:
- Manage applicant tracking software system and provide assistance throughout the organization to users.
- Research and stay up to date with market hiring trends to attract top talent.
- Use recruiting platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn to search for and reach out to candidates.
- Manage and monitor the employee experience process within the bank.
- Facilitate the application and interview process, employment offers and denials, and pre-employment assessments for our internal and external hiring process. Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Partner with hiring managers through hiring process to define needs, responsibilities, and qualifications.
- Develop a talent hot list and maintain relationships with passive candidates for future roles.
- Assist with employee career pathing as it relates to the internal application process.
- Conduct new hire orientation and continually improve onboarding programs by upholding a "How can we do it better?" mindset.
- Administer the exit interview process and provide feedback to departments.
- Coach and train hiring managers on the overall recruiting process, interview techniques, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions with others within the department.
- Partner with managers and employees to effectively resolve employee relations.
- Provide human resources training to all supervisor and management staff as it pertains to your expertise and role.
- Assist with various human resources reports.
- Assist with annual HR strategic initiatives.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations related to human resources.
- Provide assistance to the departments in development, delivery, and evaluation of employee training and development programs throughout the organization.
- Administer the bankwide compliance training platform, track employee completion, provide follow up as needed, and prepare reports required by auditors.
- Act as support resource for the first 90 days of new hire employment by completing regularly scheduled check ins and tracking of job training matrix.
Secondary Duties:
- Act as a back up to others within the Human Resources Department.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong attention to detail in reviewing candidate applications, creating job postings, and ensuring seamless onboarding experiences.
Work Schedule:
This position requires 40+ hours each week with the majority of work being completed between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Weekend and evening work occurs on an as-needed basis. Travel to other branches and conferences will occur occasionally.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field
- 3 years of experience in recruitment or Human Resource Generalist preferred
Work Environment:
This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
